Morocco: Nigeria at Euro- African Migration Dialogue

Nigeria remains committed to the safe and orderly migration of people says the Federal Commissioner, National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim at the Euro- African Dialogue on Migration on-going in Rabat, the Kingdom of Morocco.
Nigeria, she says, we will continue to strengthen its legal frameworks, policies, and institutional capacities to ensure the effective management of migration flows, while upholding the rights and well-being of individuals on the move. More than 55 member states of the International Organization for Migration are in Rabat, Morocco for the Dialogue co-hosted by Spain.
Focus is on humanized border management initiated to promote the dignity of migrants seeking refuge across national borders.
Nigeria is among 14 members of the steering committee which is driving the process for the Euro- African Dialogue in Rabat, Morocco.
