On arrival of LRT at the scene of incident, a fully loaded gas tanker with an unknown registration number was found to have involved in a lone accident at the above-mentioned location and was assessed to be about to fall off the bridge.
The entire corridor has been cordoned off by LRT in other to prevent a secondary incident.
The Agency’s heavy duty equipment ( crane ) has been dispatched to recover the impediment off the road.
LRT, LASG Fire & rescue service and NPF are responders present at the scene.
No loss of life or injury recorded.
Motorists plying that axis and those with the intent of traversing that area are implored to be patient and use alternative routes as directed by Emergency Responders, as traffic has been diverted during this recovery period.
