Minister Of Health Meets CMDs To Strategize On How To Maintain Present Tempo On Ebola Fight

The Minister of Health, Professor Onyebuchi Chukwu has met with Chief Medical Directors of Tertiary Health Institutions on how to strategise on sustaining the present tempo in the fight against the Ebola virus disease and any other emerging or re-emerging infectious disease in Nigeria.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The meeting which is interactive is part of the effort by the ministry to build the spirit of participatory planning and mutual accountability for results in the health sector for better health care delivery.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Professor Onyebuchi Chukwu who said presently there is no single case of Ebola in Nigeria called on the CMDs to  be proactive and ensure their personnel practice  the recommended universal precautionary measures.

The meeting is also expected to fashion ways of containing and maintaining zero case of infection growth while ensuring adequate surveillance.
