Women In Governorship Contest

24 women are contesting alongside their male counterparts.

States with Female candidates are

Adamawa Aisha Dahiru Binani of APC

There are two women candidates in Abia , Gladys Johnson-Ogbuneke of SDP and Lancaster Okoro of PRP

Akwa Ibom state has also two candidates they are Ekanem Abasiekeme of AA Party and Udoh Emem Monday of the SDP

Benue State also has two women Roseline Chenge ADP and Aondona Dabo-Adzuana of Zenith Labour Party

Borno state also has a female governorship candidate she is Fatima Abubakar of ADP

In Delta State, two women are in the contest they are Onokiti Helen Agboola Accord party and Cosmas Annabel representing APP
Chinenye Igwe is contesting under the platform of Allied People’s Movement in Eonyi state

Enugu State, Ogochukwu Nweze SDP.

The name Binta Umar Yahaya is also on the ballot in Jigawa state under Action Alliance (AA)

And Aishatu Mahmud NRP is among the 14 candidates contesting the governorship seat in Kano state.
