Nigerian-Moroccan Venture to produce 1M tons of fertilizer by next year

An agreement between the governments of Nigeria and morocco, anchored by fertilizer producers and suppliers of Nigeria, (FEPSAN) and a Moroccan company, OCP will yield one million tons of fertilizers through local production for next farming season.

This will be a short term solution that will, by a signed agreement also force the price of fertilizer from N8, 000 to a low cost of about N5,000.

This is in a statement by presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu.

It is part of President Muhammadu Buhari’s determination to ensure food import eases by 2019.

In a memorandum of understanding also signed during the visit of king Mohammed VI of Morocco to Nigeria by Thomas Etuh, president of FEPSAN and Dr. Mostafa Terrab, chairman and chief executive officer of the OCP group, FEPSAN and OCP, will come together to promote innovation in an effort to contribute towards productivity-led agricultural growth and improve farmer livelihood. President Buhari to attend 3rd Dakar International Forum on Peace and security in Africa

President Muhammadu Buhari will attend the third Dakar international forum on peace and security in Africa in Dakar, Senegal, beginning from December 5.

The forum, convened by President Macky Sall of Senegal with support from the African union to discuss security-related challenges on the continent, will be attended by African leaders and representatives of regional and international organisations.

President Buhari is scheduled to participate in the panel of heads of state on Tuesday, December 6.

The president, who has identified improved security in Nigeria as a priority for development, shares the vision of the forum in finding lasting solutions to security challenges on the continent, notably terrorism and violent extremism, piracy, drugs, child and human trafficking. Read More

FG Delivers Food items to Nigerian Refugees in Cameroun

The federal government through the national emergency management agency has delivered assorted food items for the feeding of Nigerian refugees taking refuge in republic of Cameroun.

    terror and the fear the Moroccan people have been and continue to live
    in. King Hassan II terrorized, tortured, sexually molested, and murdered a lot of good Moroccans who spoke and wrote
    for Democracy. King Muhammad VI is doing the same thing. Morocco will
    never be a Civilized Society until King Muhammad VI transfers all
    political powers to the Moroccan people. And only then the free
    democratic Moroccan people will make Mashura (consultation) with our
    Sahraoui brothers to resolve any and all issues peacefully and beneficially for
    all.
