Suspected Boko Haram insurgents have

killed forty-seven people in Konduga local

government area of Borno State.

The insurgents also razed two villages in

what appeared to be unabated terror attacks

unleashed on the people of the state.

The gunmen reportedly stormed Mallam

Burari and Bettiri villages on nine motorcycles

and held under siege, farmers returning from

their farms Wednesday evening.

After about two hours in captivity, the

villagers were tied down and shot by the

insurgents who carted away food items

before setting houses ablaze.

Member of the civilian JTF got to the scene

around seven o’clock in the evening and

aided survivors to bury the dead.
