Suspected Boko Haram insurgents have
killed forty-seven people in Konduga local
government area of Borno State.
The insurgents also razed two villages in
what appeared to be unabated terror attacks
unleashed on the people of the state.
The gunmen reportedly stormed Mallam
Burari and Bettiri villages on nine motorcycles
and held under siege, farmers returning from
their farms Wednesday evening.
After about two hours in captivity, the
villagers were tied down and shot by the
insurgents who carted away food items
before setting houses ablaze.
Member of the civilian JTF got to the scene
around seven o’clock in the evening and
aided survivors to bury the dead.
