NEC Meeting of Labour Party

The NEC Meeting of the party which had members from different parts of the country was the first in the year. The National Chairman of the Labour Party, Chief Dan Iwumyumnen says for democracy to stand the test of time, the party is prepared to continue to uphold it’s ideals. He said the party is not carried away by the ongoing merger but will take it’s time to ensure that the noble objective of the party is sustained.

The Labour Party he noted will win more seats in future elections. Ondo State Governor Olusegun Mimiko commended President Goodluck Jonathan for demonstrating that Elections in Nigeria can be free and fair. Governor Mimiko also assured party members that he will continue to provide good leadership in Ondo State and guarantee more dividends of democracy to the people.

Other members of the party promised that the Labour Party will continue to provide a government that Nigerians will be proud of in Ondo State.
