Road Safety Ambulances Acquired

The Federal Government has taken delivery of Ambulances and Power motorbikes under the Road corridor project of the World Bank in the quest to safe guard Nigeria roads. Observers say the provision of the ambulances and the heavy duty motorbikes to the Federal Road Safety Corps is an answer to adequate patrol and rescue logistics to optimally cover the wide network of roads in Nigeria.
The Minister of Works represented by the Permanent Secretary Alhaji Abubakar Mohammed expressed optimism that our roads will witness further reduction of mishaps with the state of the art logistics.
The Corps Marshall says the vision 20 20 20 in respect to the restriction of road traffic crashes is in view pointing out that the project is part of efforts towards achieving 50% reduction in road accidents.
