Speaker, House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas has congratulated the new National Security Adviser Nuhu, Ribadu, the Service Chiefs, as well as acting Inspector General of Police and acting Comptroller General of Customs on their appointments by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Speaker, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Musa Krishi, says the appointments were in the best interest of Nigeria and Nigerians.
Tajudeen Abbas expressed optimism that the new appointments which are subject to the approval of the National Assembly, would rejuvenate the security architecture in the country and make the institutions work better.
He lauded President Tinubu for taking the bold decision, which he says places the current administration a sound footing.
The Speaker urges the appointees to bring their wealth of experience to bear in their new assignments so as to turn things around in the security sector.
