National Assembly to Invite President Buhari over Recession

The Senate concurred with House of Representative to invite President Muhammadu Buhari to appear before a Joint Session of National Assembly, Abuja to explain steps being taken to end recession.

The decision was taken on Thursday plenary and awaiting the presidency reply when President Buhari will address the lawmakers.

Two weeks ago, the House passed a resolution asking President Buhari appearance before a joint session of the National Assembly to present the strategies for addressing the country’s prevailing economic crisis in response to economic recession.
