Yobe State Delegation Visits IDP Centre In Edo

The delegation from the Yobe State government is in Edo to ascertain the number of Yobe indigenes in the IDP camp at Uhugua in Edo State.

At the camp, there interacted with the coordinator Solomon folorunsho and the children whom just came back from school.

Mr Solomon Folorunsho who told the visiting team that there are no Yobe state indigene in the IDP camp. He further said the IDP’s from Borno are mainly from Gwoza Local Government Area of the State.

The Yobe delegation led by Commissioner for Home Affairs, Alhaji Aji Yerima went round to see facilities in the camp and the school built by the Edo State Government for the displaced children.

The commissioner was pleased with what he saw as he expressed his appreciation to the Edo state government for the care given to the Internally Displaced Persons.

Officials of the Yobe state emergency management agency and the Red Cross society are among the delegations.
