APC Debunks PDP Claims On Akwa Ibom Governorship Election
The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress APC, Lai Mohammed has described as propaganda claims by the PDP that the party in power is working with the DSS to upturn the Akwa Ibom Governorship election.
Lai Mohammed in a statement in Abuja said the DSS invited the Resident Electoral Commissioner over discovery that electoral materials were kept contrary to section 2.8.5 which requires them to be preserved unity by unit in sealed envelopes.
The statement explained that the APC is not privy to the reasons for DSS search. of Akwa Ibom Government House and reject any attempt by the PDP to link the DSS action as the APC led Federal Government supposed plan to influence the work of the tribunal. The APC National Publiciuty secretary urged the PDP to deploy energy to make their case at the tribunal instead of whipping sentiments.
