NOA, BRISIN Partner On Improving Data Management In Nigeria

The National orientation agency(NOA) and the Basic Registration and Information System in Nigeria (BRISIN) are partnering to sensitize Nigerians on keying into a central system of data generation and usage. DG National Orientation Agency(NOA), Mr Mike Omeri stressed that such a central data system would ensure availability of critical data for planning and job creation.He said this becomes necessary to revert past experiences where policies before sensitization have been counterproductive.

National Co-ordinator, BRISIN, Dr Anthony Uwa noted that harmonization of data from multi data bases had become paramount adding that BRISIN’s partnership with NOA would facilitate  communication to Nigerians about government policies in over 530 local languages.
