Army Reiterates Commitment In Ending Insurgency
The Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Kenneth Minimah said terrorism is a global threat which will soon be over.
The Army Chief stated this at the graduation of Junior Course 78 held at Armed Forces Command and Staff College Jaji, Kaduna
Lieutenant Minimah says terrorism did not start in Nigeria as many other country of the world had to contend with the same challenges and Nigeria is not an exception. It is against this backdrop, that training and retraining, is being held. The Army Chief urge the Graduands to brace up as the course has prepared and refined them with additional responsibilities.
He said the course curriculum is structured and continually reviewed to keep in tune with current development in the world. Commandant Armed forces command and staff college Jaji Air Vice Marshal Christ John Ifemeje says the college has laid a professional foundation for the Graduands to cope with the challenges. The Graduands were awarded with past first dinner certificate and those who excel through their outstanding performance are recognised.
