US Lauds Nigeria’s Effort in Containing Ebola;Urges Nigeria to Assist Sister Nations in Fighting The Disease

While Nigeria grapples with containing the outbreak of Ebola virus disease, the United States still believes that it has a helping hand it can extend to neighbouring Countries in their battle against the disease.
The U.S. Assistant Secretary for African Affairs said this when he called on the Minister of Health in Abuja.
Speaking with the media after a closed door meeting with minister of health,US assistant Secretary of State for Africa, Linda Thomas Greenfield joined her voice with other members of the international community to laud Nigeria’s effort in containing the dreaded disease.
Professor Onyebuchi Chukwu said Nigeria is ready to assist sister nations in combating the virus, and that Nigeria will continue to work with the United States until a final solution to the disease is achieved.
