NITDA Trains Legislators

The capacity building workshop for the Legislators focuses on global best practices in Information Technology, in Legislative Duties and Deployment of IC in the Legislation of critical national issues.

Senate President David Mark in a message to the opening of the workshop commended the NITDA for the initiative which he said will go a long way in enhancing service delivery in the Legislative arm of Government.

Both the Minister of Communications Technology and Director General NITDA said Nigeria is now a major player in the Global ICT Industry hence the need for individuals and organizations to develop their capacities for enhanced productivity, good Governance and socio-economic development.

The Chairman Senate Committee on communication, Senator Gilbert Nnabi believes that at the end of the day, Legislative businesses will be conducted in a fast and cost effective manner to improve administrative efficiency and interaction with citizens.
