MOU on Food Safety

Fodd Safety and water hygiene have been issues of concern in Nigeria as most food handlers to not follow proper hygiene rules in the preparation, presentation and packaging of food materials. To assist in carrying out sensitization campaign across the nooks and crannies of Nigeria, a Civil Society Group signed an MOU with Environmental Health Officers Registration Council of Nigeria.

The Minister of Environment represented by Augustine Ebisike, says the Government is ready to partner with any organization in the area of Public health. Other Speakers pledged their resolve to support the Ministry in enlightening their wards on food safety and water hygiene.

Mr. Augustine, Ebisike signed on behalf od the council while Mrs. Edit Ngozi Ugwuanyi signed for the Foundation.
