The Bi-annual meeting has become a useful instrument for reviewing important issues of migration between Nigeria and the UK. Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Martin Khomibhi said the aim is to double bilateral trade by 2015. The meeting also noted that irregular migration is a major worry to both countries. It is expected that the review meeting will harmonize grey areas particularly prisoner transfer agreement and human trafficking.
