Northern Traditional Rulers Meet with Jonathan

Northern Traditional Rulers have met President Goodluck Jonathan to discuss the state of the Nation, especially with insecurity in parts of the Northern States with a position paper. Led by Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, the session reviewed the situation in the last two years arising from terrorist activities spearheaded by the Boko Haram group side by side with the amnesty programme being planned by the Administration.
The Emir of Kazaure, Najib Hussaini Adamu who spoke on behalf of the Traditional Rulers and the Information Minister, Labaran Maku stressed that President Jonathan was commended for the use of dialogue and strategies for sustainable peace in the country, especially amnesty.
