Good Governance Tour Resumes

The tour which commenced in September 2012 with the Federal Capital Territory has so far covered 16 States in the North Central, South East and South-South Geo-Political Zones. The main objective of the tour which is entrenching good governance, provides a platform for members of the team comprising representatives of National and foreign mass media, Nigerian Union of Journalists, Radio, Television and Theatre Art Workers Union, National Association of Nigerian Studets, Social Media Team, Civil Society groups and National council of Women Societies as well as Reps of the Presidency and National Planning Commission.

The Minister of Information, Mr Labaran Maku, while appreciating Nigerians for their interest in the NGGT, invites Nigerians at home and in the diaspora to actively participate especially in the citizens forum, which features a robust interaction between the people and Government. The Citizen’s Forum is beamed live on NTA, FRCN, other media organisations and all the social media networks.
