Of recent, Nigeria has witnessed a number of environmental challenges. Ranging from floods, erosions and desertification among others. To tackle these challenges, the National Environmental Standards and Regulations Empowerment Agency says all Nigerians must contribute towards having a safe environment. The workshop was a forum to explain current issues to the consultants. The agency also called on organizations to have environmental facilities in place. To reduce the high incidence of flooding experienced last year across the country, the agency says it is embarking on a sensitisation tour to educate Nigerians.
