JTF Repels Attack on Gaidam

One Military Personnel lost his life while two others sustained injuries when the JTF team had an encounter with insurgents near Gaidam town in Yobe state. An unspecified member of insurgents were also killed by the JTF in an effort to repel attack on Gaidam town last Sunday evening. Yobe JTF spokesman, Lt. Eli Lazarus confirmed the incident and reassured people of the state of their commitment to protect their lives. He appeals for useful information that will help curb the insurgency in the state.
