TRCN Inducts Teachers

More than one thousand seven hundred graduates from the Universities of Jos and Uyo as well as the College of Education, Agbor have been inducted by the teachers registration council of Nigeria TRCN. Registrar, TRCN, Prof. Addison Wokocha said the council had approved a new programme known as post Doctoral Diploma in education designed by the university of Ilorin. This is to provide a conducive learning atmosphere for university lecturers who lack teaching qualification. He urged the inductees to adhere to professional ethics as the council would soon commence the prosecution of unqualified teachers in schools. Vice Chancellor, University of Jos represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor academics commended the TRCN for living up to its mandate of overhauling and repositioning the education system.
