Interior Minister on Easter

As the Christendom celebrates Easter Monday, Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro urges all Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of forgiveness.

The Minister also called on Christians to pray for the nation in the face of the current challenges bedeviling a particular section of the country. Comrade Moro in a statement said the occasion should be used to reflect on the ultimate sacrifice Jesus Christ made through his crucifixion on the cross for the remission of sins of believers. Comrade Moro noted that Nigerians as a people, should also think of what sacrifice they can make to ensure the growth and development of the Nation. He added that both followers and the leaders have their different roles to play to take Nigeria to greater heights. The Interior Minister assured Nigerians of President Jonathan’s commitment to the provision of an enabling environment for the development of the Nigerian Nation and asked for prayers and support.
