Briefing Journalists, the Minister debunked an online publication insinuating that an agreement had been reached between the government, Shell-Eni and Malabu. Describing the publication as a wrong representation of facts, He clarifies that no agreement has been reached as both parties are still negotiating.
While expressing optimism that the issues will be resolved soon, he said the oil bloc has the highest number of deposits which will be of immense benefit to Nigeria’s economy
It has Been a long standing issue between Shell-Eni and Malabu, with ongoing negotiations a final solution might be in the pipeline.
