ASUU Suspends 3 Months Old Strike

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has suspended its 3 months old nationwide strike. Its further directed it’s members to resume academic activities effective from Friday, February 8, 2019.

ASUU and the government resolved issues after a meeting on Thursday and signing a new Memorandum of Action. The academic body however gave warning that however it will resume strike if government fails to honour the deal.
