Royal Anniversary: Bello Describes 15-Years of Etsu Nupes Rule As Monumental Success

Niger Governor Abubakar Sani-Bello  has applauded the Etsu Nupe and Chairman of the State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar for his significant contributions to the unity, peace, progress and development of the Bida Emirate, the State and country as a whole.
In a congratulatory message to the monarch, Governor Sani-Bello described the fifteen years reign of the Etsu as filled with immeasurable activities and overwhelming success that has brought rapid transformation to Nupe Kingdom.
The Governor, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Malam Jibrin Baba Ndace, said the Royal Father has been able to bring hope and instil understanding amongst the people as well as promote those cultural values the identified the Nupes as a people.
Governor Sani-Bello also noted that Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar has remained instrumental to the course of educational development of his people especially the Girl-child.
“The Etsu’s reign has brought unity and peaceful co-existence and greatly promoted the rich cultural heritage of the people. He has been able to sustain and enhanced the status of the throne and wielded influence that transcends the country’s borders”.
“We are proud to celebrate this strategic leader and statesman whose positive attitude, strong will, discipline, self-confident and ability to manage people have been significant factors towards the progress and development of the state and the country in general”.
While acknowledging the role of traditional rulers and religious leaders in nation building, Governor Sani-Bello stressed the need for government to support them by creating the right platform for them to function effectively.
The Governor prayed Allah to grant the Royal Father many more years ahead in good health and wisdom to continue with the remarkable service to humanity through his wise counsel and advise to the people and government.
