Bagudu Reiterates his Administration’s Determination Towards Development of Sporting Activities
( Abubakar Mu’azu Dakingari) Birnin Kebbi: Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has reiterated his administration’s determination towards development of football and other sporting activities in the state.
Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu made this known at the second edition of Kebbi State Sallah Beach Soccer Competition at the Race Course Birnin Kebbi.
Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu who was overwhelmed by the performance of the teams urged Kebbi Youths to avail themselves the opportunity to make fortune out of football.
He made it clear that football has become a worldwide fancies, that he would want the youths in Kebbi State to be playing at national and international levels.
The four teams that participated in the completion are Kebbi, Sokoto, Kogi and Ghana Beach Soccer teams.
In his remarks the Chairman Nigeria Football Association Kebbi State Branch, Alhaji A.C Ladan thanked Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu for providing opportunity to indigenes of the state to compete favourably in sports, and urged youths to consolidate on the gesture through excellence.
Among personalities at the ceremony were Chief of Staff Government House, Alhaji Suleiman Muhammad Argungu, Majority Leader, Kebbi State House of Assembly, Barr. Bello Yakubu Rilisco and Local Government Chairmen.
