BREAKING: President Buhari Declares June 12 as #DemocracyDay, MKO Abiola Awarded GCFR Posthumous

In a letter personally signed by the President, Buhari declares June 12th every year as Democracy Day and not 29th May.

In line with unanimous acceptance that the election that saw Cheif MKO Abiola emerged as winner of the said June 12 election was more symbolic as Nigeria’s Democracy Day.
