VP Osinbajo Commissions African Development Bank in Kano

Salihu Yakasai, Abuja: His Excellency Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR today attended the commissioning of the newly constructed African Development Bank office in Nigeria which was commissioned by the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.

The office of the AFDB which is constructed under the able leadership of the President of the AFDB Mr Adesina, is the second on the continent after that of the Headquarters which is located in Abidjan, Code D’Ivoire, since its inception in the 1960s, which is not surprising, since Nigeria is the biggest contributor to the bank.

The event was well attended by Governors of Kebbi, Adamawa, Abia and the deputy governor of Ogun, ministers, CBN Governor, members of the diplomatic corps and the Emir of Kano among others.
