Jamila Chinwe, Lafia: Maiden edition of Federal Education sector Games for 21 agencies of the Federal Ministry of Education.
To foster unity and stimulate efficiency in service delivery Through sports.
Twelve agencies registered for the event that was declared open by the state Nasarawa Deputy Governor Mr. Silas Ali Agara.
He reiterated the state government’s commitment towards contributing to the revitalisation of the sports sector and stressed the need for improved partnership and investment from the private sector.
Minister of Education Adamu Adamu who was represented by the Perm. Sec. Arc. Sonny Ochono thanked Nasarawa state government for hosting the event saying it will among others promote physical and mental fitness as well as inculcate spirit of sportsman among the workforce.
