Acting President on Ethnic Agitation
Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo has again assured Nigerians that the Buhari Administration is not  deaf to grievances in parts of the country, saying that the government will address them, while urging that such grievances  be expressed with grace.
In response to the recent spate of agitations pitting some groups in the southeast, the acting president had had a series of engagements and consultations with political, traditional and media leaders from across the country.

BACCAN Combine Service
With the theme “a call for unity” the FCT can chairman rev. Jonah Samson enjoined Christians in the Federal Capital Territory to be united as unity is the backbone of every society. He stated this during the first combine service organized by Bwari Area Council Christian Association of Nigeria (BACCAN).

Danbaba Suntai Dies.
Taraba State was thrown into mourning yesterday, Wednesday 28th June, following the news of the death of a former governor of the state, Danbaba Danfulani Suntai.

FCT Strides in Land Administration.
The FCT administration in the last two years has processed and given out over a thousand certificates of occupancy to land owners, having sanitized the land administration procedure in the nation’s capital.
Director, Abuja Geographic Information System, AGIS, Isa Jalo while briefing the media in Abuja as part of FCT activities commemorating two years of the Buhari Administration , said the FCT administration now generates an average of fifty million naira daily from land administration alone.

FEC Approves Science & Tech Road Map.
The federal executive council has approved the science technology and innovation roadmap 2017-2030 for the country.
The thirteen year blueprint is aimed at ensuring that Nigeria fully explores its natural resource endowment towards achieving self-reliance and a greater nation.

FG on Rice/Wheat Production in North West
Records of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture show that Nigeria produced over seventeen million tons of rice in 2016 in eighteen states of the federation.
The records also show significant increase in wheat production initiative.
This is coming as rice and wheat farmers advocate a review of the national rice and wheat policy for sustainability of the success recorded in the production of the commodity.

Homage Visit by FCT Minister
The need to pay more attention to Education at all levels of government has been re-emphasized.
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Muhammed Bello gave the advice while playing host  to chiefs and elders of the territory during the traditional Sallah  Message.

Imo Police Parade 36 Criminals
Imo State Commissioner of Police ,Chris Ezike has attributed whistle blowing ,zeal,intelligence led policing and partnership with Imo community as some factors that has led to the arrest of some criminals in the state.

Minister of Science and Technology Visits Proda
The Minister of Science and Technology,Dr Ogbonnaya Onu has charged the pencil production team of Project Development Institute [PRODA] to look inwards and source raw materials locally in order to embark on massive production of pencils.
The minister gave the charge when he visited the institute to assess the level of work at pencil house.

Mrs Buhari Hosts Youths to Eid-El-Fitr Dinner
The future is theirs, and there is growing determination to guarantee it. That is why wife of the President Aisha Muhammadu Buhari is enjoining Nigerian youths to continue upholding the spirit of brotherhood, patriotism and tolerance for positive change and development of the country. Mrs. Buhari made this appeal in a message at a dinner organized for the Nigerian young couples as part of activities to celebrate Eid-El-Fitr.

NNPC/France to Invest in Oil and Gas
France Government has set aside one billion euros to be invested in the Nigeria oil and gas industry.
France Ambassador to Nigeria,Denys Gaver made this known when he received officials of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation[NNPC] in Abuja. The French Ambassador commended federal government for stemming the Niger Delta insecurity situation.
Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division of the NNPC, Nud Ughamadu disclosed that through the significant scale down in pipeline vandalism and insecurity, oil production has received a boost.

Osinbajo Visit  Inovation  Lab
The Federal Government says it will collaborate effectively with genuine enterprises and other purposeful endeavors assisting Nigerian start-up entrepreneurs towards improving business ideas for national development. Acting president, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo stated this while visiting a civic innovation laboratory in Abuja.

Prayers for President Buhari in Uyo
Stakeholders in Akwa Ibom state have called for continuous prayers from Nigerians, for the quick recovery and safe return of President Muhammadu Buhari to the country. This was at a one day prayer summit organized by APC youths in Akwa Ibom State.
