U.S. Donates Demining & Explosive Ordinance Disposal Training Equipment

The donation was made to the Nigerian Army School of Military Engineering, Makurdi by Major Chiddy Adighije of the Office of Security Cooperation, U.S. Embassy Abuja.  It
followed site exploitation, Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) training which aimed to improve the skills of Nigerian explosive ordinance disposal teams.

The explosive training aids included replicas (inert) of bombs, rockets, mines and grenades as well as projectiles and mortars.  They were received by the Deputy Commandant Brigadier General C.V. Ezeh who noted that it will enhance the practical training of members of the Nigerian Armed Forces.
