#Cancer-Foundation: Dr Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu Receives Special Achievement Award
Special achievement award from Silverbird Group to Dr Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu and Medicaid Cancer Foundation
At a bespoke ceremony held on the 19th February 2017 in Eko Convention Centre Lagos, the contribution of Her Excellency Dr Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu and the Medicaid Cancer Foundation to creating awareness, diagnosis and treatment of Cancer in Nigeria was rewarded with a Special Achievement Award.
Speaking, Dr Bagudu urged Nigerians to use the concept of 3 bridge builders in her life to walk the path to success. One of those she extolled was His Excellency Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu the executive governor of Kebbi state. She said: ‘Of all the projects of the current state governors, the #Laskeb agricultural agreement that gave birth to Lake rice is the most innovative in terms of building ties between the north and south of Nigeria and brings about not just greater food security for the country but also economically enhances the lives of our farmers in Kebbi state. She added that this broad mindedness of His Excellency reflects in the success of the #MCF‘s work. She said ‘Without his input, we couldn’t have even taken the first vital steps.
