(VON) Hosts Gombe United Football Club on Wednesday beat Nasarawa United FC of Lafia 1-0 in a 2016/2017 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Match Day 7 fixture in Gombe.
The goal was scored in the 83rd minute of the game through a left foot shot by Austine Oladapo.
Speaking to newsmen after the match, Manu Garba, the Technical Adviser of Gombe United, commended the level of performance of his players.
He also applauded the match officials for what he described as good officiating.
Also speaking, Abubakar Arkiya’a, the Assistant Coach of Nasarawa United, said the two teams played well.
“I also commend the match officials for their good officiating,” he said.
