Warning To Occupants of Mararaba High Court – Gov. Almakura

Ahmed Tukur, Lafia: Governor Umaru Tanko Al-makura of Nasarawa state has given a matching order to illegal occupants of Mararaba High court premises in Karu local government area of the state to move out or face the wrath of the law.

Al-makura gave the order while on inspection tour of the construction of the three new High court complex within the premises of the Mararaba High court.

Governor Al-makura who decried the continuous abuse of the premises by petty traders, hawkers and erection of illegal structures said that the premises and its environs must be protected from illegality to avoid any thing that would cause distraction to the cause of justice.

He urged those that erected illegal structures and hawkers within the premises to park out with immediate effect to allow the Court have more space to discharge its duties.

Al-makura also urged contractors handling the construction of the three new High court Complex to ensure speedy completion before the end of the first quarter of 2017.

He explained that the building of the three Complex is to decongest the High courts and make justice more accessible to the people.

He added that his administration would always ensure sanity and
respect for other arms of government in the state while urging every citizens of the state to protect government property.
