Nigeria’s Rio 2016 Olympics Games Updates – Rachael Tonjor
Rachel Tonjor is one of Nigeria’s best female swimmers. She currently holds the National Swimming records in 50m breaststroke at 33.81s, and 100m breaststroke 1:15.49.
She ranked 42 in the just completed heat of the Rio Olympics, coming in at 1:21:43, 6 secs short of her best performance.
Tonjor competed in the heats of the 2015 FINA World Championships in Kazan, placing 64th in the women’s 100m breaststroke. She did not progress to the next round of the competition.
