The Federal Government says it will abide by the ruling of the international court of justice in respect of the Nigeria- Cameroon boundary dispute in demonstration of the nation’s commitment to the rule of law.

2. Nigeria Signs Re-Negotiated Ajaokuta Concession Agreement.
Nigeria has commenced the process for the resuscitation of the Ajaokuta steel plant as a re-negotiated concession agreement is signed for the completion of the plant.

The town hall meeting organized by the ministry of information and culture featured the minister of information and culture Lai Mohammed and his counterparts from the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Agriculture, Industry, Trade and Investment, environment, health, solid minerals, labour and petroleum resources.

Such financial aid is directly meant for medical and nutritional challenges by the IDPs.
A statement by the senior special assistant to the president on media and publicity Garba Shehu further stressed that, when a similar publication was made in the past, the us embassy in Abuja condemned it.
The statement assured Nigerians that, the Federal Government is aware of the humanitarian challenges in the IDP camps and the needful will be done to alleviate the plight of the IDPs.

Troops of operation Lafiya Dole have been directed to maintain the current tempo of the fight for full restoration of peace in the north east.

Criminal hideouts and camps harboring pipeline vandals Arepo and environs.
A statement signed by director of public relations and information group captain Ayodele Famuyiwa says the air operation Awatse Conename is aimed at providing support for the joint task force to dislodge pipeline vandals and other criminal elements.
The operation has sufficiently displaced the vandals from their current location at Arepo while their criminal activities have also been heavily disrupted.
the NAF said it is intensifying its operation day and night to neutralize the remnants of the vandals who they said might have relocated deep into the mangrove forest.
10. Govornor Amosun Commends Buhari on Terrorists Fight

Prof Ishaq Olarewaju Oloyede is the new registrar of the joint admissions and matriculation board, [jamb].
The Chief Executives of the Nigerian Educational Research Development Council, [NERDC] Nigerian French Language Village, Badagry, National Board for Technical Education and the National Arabic Language Village, Maiduguri, Borno state retained their positions.
The appointments takes effect from Monday august 1st 2016 and the 17 new chief executives are to be at the office of the minister of education on Tuesday august 2nd at 12 noon. This was contained in a statement by the director press public relations, Bem Goong.
