LUTH Management Unaware of the #SaveMayowa Plot – CMD
“I am hearing the case for the first time. The hospital will make proper investigation on her case and we will inform the public as at when due.” Chief Medical Director of Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Prof Christopher Bode told news reporters Thursday in Lagos.
This follows online report, starting from LindaIkejiBlog, in which foul play(scam) allegation emerged involving the family of Ahmed Mayowa Sukurat, an ovarian cancer patient said to be on admission at LUTH.
It will be recalled that an online campaign was launched last week to raise money for Mayowa about N32million was raised. Further reports showed that Mayowa’s ovarian cancer is advanced stage, nearly beyond medical treatment.

Now, Nigerians are asking a lot of questions especially following reports from Toyin Aimakhu and Aramide Kasumu, founder of Lifestake Foundation who brought Mayowa to LUTH scam allegation from Mayowa’s family, using the health situation of their daughter to raise money that is not needed.
However, Pulse Nigeria’s visual report from family members maintains no foul play in Mayowa’s case.
