Saraki Describes Late Oluwatayo As A Selfless Lawmaker

????????????????????????????????????

Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has mourned the death of a member of the House of Representatives, representing Ifako-Ijaye Federal Constituency in Lagos State, Hon. Adewale Oluwatayo.

The Senate President state this in a press statement issued by his Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, Yusuph Olaniyonu on Friday in Abuja.

Saraki described the demise of the lawmaker as a very sad event.

“I am shocked that we lost such a fine parliamentarian and public servant at a time his services were most needed by his constituency in particular and Nigeria in general.

“His selflessness and patriotic services to his people both as a local government boss, Special Adviser to the Lagos State Government and lastly, a federal lawmaker attest to Oluwatayo’s highly impactful but brief sojourn on the earthly plane. May his soul rest in peace,” he said.

He said Saraki commiserated with the immediate family of the late lawmaker, the people of Ifako/Ijaiye Federal Constituency, his colleagues in the House of Representatives and the Lagos State government over the sad loss.

He added that while praying God to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest, he urged his family and admirers to be consoled by the exemplary lifestyle of the late lawmaker.
