NAF Warns Against Enlistment Scam Into The Force
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) said that its attention has been drawn to a comment, going round the internet, by one Bridget Ehichoya Violet who claims to have access to the Air Secretary, AVM CN Chukwu, to assist with regards to recruitment or enlistment into the NAF.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Airforce in Abuja.
NAF in the statement categorically stated that this claim is another scam by some unscrupulous elements to defraud unsuspecting members of the public of their money.
According to the statement, the mention of the Air Secretary in connection with the purported claim by the fraudsters is merely a gimmick to deceive people to fall prey to their trap.
“Therefore, members of the public are advised not to have anything to do with the GSM number (08145038139) or the contacts provided by these fraudsters as they are all false.
“The public is once again reminded to always refer to the NAF official website at www.airforce.mil.ng or Facebook page atwww.facebook.com/hqnigerianairforce for any information, particularly the conduct and progress of the on-going NAF Recruitment or Direct Short Service Commission Exercise 2016.” It added.
