Religious leaders To Work With FG Says Christian Association of Nigeria

The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN wants Religious leaders to work with the Federal Government towards promoting National Unity.

The New President of CAN, Reverend Samson Ayokunle made the call while speaking with newsmen in Abuja.

Reverend Ayokunle who is also the President, Nigerian Baptist Convention said there was the need for unity among religious bodies and government at all levels to surmount the country’s challenges.

The CAN President also emphasised the need for Christians not to relent in praying for the success of the present administration.

Reverend Ayokunle commended the process that led to his emergence as the new CAN President and pledged to work with all Christian and Non-Christian Organisations for National Development.
