Breaking: Tomorrow Monday Is 1st Ramadan 1437 A.H

The Supreme leader of Muslims in Nigeria, the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar has announced that new crescent moon has been sighted in cities across Nigeria.

Therefore, tomorrow Monday 6th June, 2016 is 1st Ramadan, 1437 After Hijrah in the Islamic Calendar year.

“Today 29th day of Sha’aban, 1437 A.H, is equivalent to 5th Juna, 2016, therefore marks the end of Sha’aban,” Sulatan said.

He further said “However, tomorrow June, 6, 2016 is equivalent to 1st Ramadan, 1437 A.H.”

He urged the Muslims faithful to abide the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in charity and good work and also urge Umma to pray for peace, unity and that Nigeria and the nations leaders to succeed at all levels.
