President Buhari With Late Murtala’s Wife Ajoke On 75th Birthday
President Muhammadu Buhari warmly felicitates with former First Lady, Mrs. Ajoke Mohammed who turned 75 today.
President Buhari joins family members, friends and well-wishers in celebrating the worthy and exemplary life of Mrs. Mohammed, who has consistently shown that the entire society can be truly enriched through building strong and successful families.
On the happy occasion of her 75th birthday, President Buhari also applauds Mrs. Mohammed’s remarkable contributions to environmental preservation as a renowned horticulturist and leading conservationist.
The President prays that Almighty God will grant the dear wife of late General Murtala Mohammed many more years of good health and joyful living with her children, grandchildren, relatives, friends and associates across the country.
Murtala Ramat was born August 1938 in the ancient city of Kano and was the military ruler with the shortest of time as head of state between July 30, 1975 to February 13, 1976.
Murtala Muhammed before his assassination on February 13, 1076 in Lagos on his way to office, left a wife, Ajoke and children.
