Emir of Daura Host President Buhari
President Muhammadu Buhari is reassuring Nigerians that his administration will not abdicate its responsibility in addressing the nation’s fundamental problems for unity, stability and development of the country.
Speaking at a special luncheon organised in his honour by Emir of Daura Dr Umar Farouk Umar, President Buhari said the 2016 Budget of Change just signed into law represents a major step in delivering a new opportunity for Nigeria.
He said despite the challenges, the governing APC has the will, resourcefulness and commitment to not only secure Nigeria and rebuild the economy but also deliver prosperity to the people.
President Buhari however said Government cannot do it alone and therefore solicited the support of Traditional rulers, religious leaders and well meaning Nigerians to mobilise the citizenry towards serving the interest of the country at all times.
The Emir of Daura Dr Umar Farouk Umar commended president Buhari for the steps taken so far by his administration to give a new vista of hope on the future of the country.
He assured Nigerians that they will not have any regrets giving their mandate to President Buhari whom he said means well for the country.
During the interaction prayers were offered for the nation and its leaders.
