President Buhari Leaves Abuja For China

President Muhammadu Buhari has left Abuja for an official visit to the People’s Republic China.

President Muhammadu Buhari accompanied by some Governors and members of the Federal Executive council departed Nanmdi Azikiwe International Airport at about 7:30 sunday evening.

He was seen by senior Government officials including the Chinese Embassy officials in Nigeria.

While in Beijing, President Buhari is expected to hold talks with his Chinese counterpart XI Jinping and other senior government officials aimed at securing greater support for the development of Nigeria’s infrastructure.

This is aimed at enhancing the nation’s Power, roads, railways, Aviation, water supply and Housing sectors.

During the visit, several new agreements and memoranda of understanding are expected to be finalised between the two countries and signed for implementation.
