President Buhari Meets Visiting Turkish President

Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and President Muhammadu Buhari shaking hands.

Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived the presidential villa at 11:49 am on Wednesday.

He was welcomed by President Muhammadu Buhari and honoured with a grand presidential reception which includes a military parade and 21-gun salute.

In attendance, were some members of the Federal Executive Council and other Turkish diplomats and Business investors.

The two Leaders held bilateral talks at the State House Abuja which is aimed at deepen socioeconomic relations between the two countries.

President Erdogan, who has visited Ivory Coast and Ghana earlier in the week, will also visit Guinea in continuation of his working visit to the four African nations.
