Failure Of Adherence To Regulations Responsible For Environmental Challenges – NESREA
Failure to adhere to regulations is responsible for the high level of environmental challenges in Nigeria.
This is the submission of participants at the National Regulatory Dialogue by the National Environmental Standards and Regulation Agency – NESREA in Abuja.
They agreed that for the Country to achieve its developmental agenda there must be a deliberate effort towards the actualization of Environmental Sustainability.
The Director General NESREA stressed the importance of partnering with the States in the quest to achieve sustainable development by the Country.
The National Regulatory Dialogue is held annually to evaluate compliance of Environmental Regulations in Nigeria and fashion ways of ensuring effective adherence to regulations nationwide.
