Mark Zuckerberg Gave Away 99% Shares Of Facebook
Mark Zuckerberg Facebook CEO, yesterday express his excitement over their new born baby girl named Max.
Mark made announcement in a letter to Max on his Facebook page that they will give away 99% of their shares in the company.
In his letter Mr Zuckerberg said the aim of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative is “to advance human potential and promote equality for all children in the next generation”.
However the shares will not be donated to charity immediately, but over the period of the couple’s lives.
Today, most people die from five things — heart disease, cancer, stroke, neurodegenerative and infectious diseases and we can make faster progress on these and other problems.
The shares will focus on personalized learning, curing disease, connecting people and building strong communities.
Additionally, In the letter, Mark also gave an insight plans for projects in areas of medicine, clean energy, poverty alleviation, equal rights and others which he hopes will make the world a better place for everyone.
