Federal Government Signs MOU On Bio-Fertilizer

To support farmers in restoring Nigeria’s position as a leader in agriculture production, the Federal Government has signed a Memorandum Of Understanding with an Indian firm for the establishment of a Bio-fertilizer factory and research center in Abuja.

The Permanent Secretary Ministry of Science and Technology Winifred Oyo-Ita says the factory will cater for localized microbes suitable for different crops and plantations in Nigeria.
